Treasurer Tyrone K. Hutson

Tyrone Hutson attended Illinois State University for several years. He eventually transferred to Governers State University where he received his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. He decided to further his education, and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Political Justice at Governors State University. Tyrone is currently employed as a Cook County Juvenile Probation Officer, and has worked in this capacity for over 17 years. He is responsible for the court ordered probation of minors who come in contact with the criminal justice system.

Tyrone's employment experience, and focus on community collaboration has led him to numerous volunteer opportunities and community leadership roles. He has been involved in various community-based programs which include Boy Scouts of America, Little League Baseball and Colt Baseball. Also, as a former elected official of Country Club Hills; he addressed the needs and concerns of his constituents.

Tyrone has a passion for working with, and mentoring children. He challenges them to make choices which will contribute to a successful future. He believes that education is a very important tool in helping our youth reach their maximum potential.
